  This place looks nice, bright. The waitress was young and inexperienced but did a good job, very nice to their customers. The food was alright. We paid £5 for a panini with brie and cranberry and a toasted sandwich arrived with some salad and chips when we were expecting a half baguette, so a bit let down by the presentation. A cup of tea cost £2.20 and was enough for 2 and 1/2 servings, even though the teapot seemed to be able to host more water. So it came across overpriced. They are a new place so I think they will improve, the food it self tasted nice.

  Excellent coffee not compromised by the move to larger premises. Can get crowded and at peak times is a little noisy. Has a continental feel that is supported by friendly and helpful staff, not something always found in most other Newport coffee shops. Isola is my first choice town centre coffee stop.
