  It was an emergency because my built-in oven had ceased to work (understandably cos it was 18 yrs old). So I hurried to my local Currys and within 1 hour had bought, arranged delivery/installation/recycling of old one a good value built-in oven. The whole experience was a pleasure , with a particular thank you to Shaun. Currys is well stocked, spacious, very nicely laid out and pleasant and knowledgeable staff.

  The prices are very reasonable for a direct brick and mortar store. The layout of the store is convenient and its easy to find what you're looking for, even if they don't always have it. It makes such a massive difference to see things in person. I've purchased a washing machine, a fridge and recently a piece of high tech computer hardware that was refunded a few days later with no problems or long waits. The staff are friendly, considerate and down to earth. So far I haven't had any bad experiences from the couple of dozen times I've visited. I don't expect the staff to know everything which is why it pays to research what you want before hand, however the few questions I asked were well received and well explained.
